Trekking

Trekking tours in Myanmar usually take place in the hill regions in the upper part of the country. We can help you get necessary specialize trekking for the way of Southern Shan State (Kalaw and Pindaya region) and Eastern Shan State (Kentung region).

Southern Shan State (Kalaw and Pindaya region)

The dwellers of the southeast Shan mountain ranges are the Pao, Palaung and Danu. Trekking trips starts from passing through some PaO, Palaung and Danu Villages. One can learn and see the way of lives of the different Shan races. The most significant element for tourists to see are the long houses of the tribes where several families stayed together, earning a living from the cultivation of seasonal crops. You can take the trekking around this area as one night or two night trekking.

Kentung (Golden Triangle region; Trek for seeing hill tribe)

This is short range strolls around the city and the villages of the Ann, Akhar, Loi, Shan and Palaung tribes as day return trekking.

Putao (Ice Mountain Trekking)

Kachin state(Putao region) in the far north of Myanmar (Burma) offers high snow topped mountain peaks, fast flowing mountain streams, rapids and waterfalls; plains and slopes of paddy plantations, vegetable and fruit farms and open fields, mountain lakes, as well as many tribal races. The trek to Mt. Phong Kan Razi is an introduction to mountaineering in this hill land of Kachin, Jimphaw, Lisu, Rawan, Khamti Shan, and other hilltribe people.

There are rafting, trekking near by village and climbing to the snow-cap. You have to spend night stop in the villages and at camps, and cold weather.

Bird Watching

Myanmar has many endemic birds, endangered birds and other specialty birds, For the diversity of birdlife and for the adventure of birding unspoiled and little visited places in Myanmar; there are trips for Bird Watching.

Moeyingyi Wetland Bird Sanctuary can offer you a day trip bird watching from Yangon. For longer trips, Nat Ma Taung or Mount Victoria National Park is the best to view birds.

Elephant Camp

We can organize the trip riding elephant at Myaing Hay Wun Elephant Camp and Phoe Kyar Elephant Camp.
